VICTORY SEES KASHIMA ANTLERS SEAL TICKET TO ROUND OF 16

Ulsan: Mu Kanazaki scored twice as Kashima Antlers secured a 4-0 win over Ulsan Hyundai on Wednesday, a result which - coupled with Muangthong United's later defeat of Brisbane Roar - saw the Japanese side seal their place in this season's AFC Champions League Round of 16.
After a goalless first-half, Kanazaki struck from close range seven minutes into the second period before Pedro Junior doubled his side’s advantage with a shot from outside the area. Kanazaki made the points safe in the 67th when he capitalised on an error by Kim Yong-dae to claim a third for Kashima and Leo Silva smashed home the fourth in the 90th minute.
Masatada Ishii’s side move on to nine points from their five games so far in Group E, while 2012 champions Ulsan, with four points, now have no chance to advance with one game remaining in the competition's Group Stage.
Kashima will host Muangthong on Matchday Six with top spot up for grabs.
