Soccer is coming back to the United States in late June and you can catch the action on CBS. The NWSL will become the first professional team sports league to return in the United States when the 2020 Challenge Cup, a month-long World Cup-style tournament, gets underway on June 27 in Utah with the North Carolina Courage taking on the Portland Thorns FC and the Chicago Red Stars taking on the Washington Spirit.
The Orlando Pride withdrew from the competition due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the players and staff members. As far as the format goes, each team is guaranteed to play four games in the preliminary round before the knockout stage. The tournament opener and the title game will air on CBS and every match will be available to stream on CBS All Access. For a look at the complete schedule and results, click here.
