Bournemouth make the trip to Turf Moor this weekend desperate to end their losing streak on the road. However, with Burnley enjoying the better share of results in h2h clashes here, a change in fortune seems unlikely for the visitors this Saturday.

Burnley got the better of Southampton by a narrow 2-1 scorecard, last week, taking their unbeaten run in the league to four games on the trot. The hosts have garnered ten points from a possible twelve in the process, and have been at the losing end in just one of their past five games.

It is also worth mentioning that three of those four opponents were sides that are currently residing in the top ten. With thirty-four points to their name, the home team are now eleventh on the ladder.

On the other hand, Bournemouth had a two-match winning streak brought to an abrupt halt after Sheffield United edged past them on the road in their most recent clash. Despite breaking the deadlock early on in that latter matchup, the visitors conceded twice before the end of ninety minutes, subsequently forcing them to make the trip back home empty-handed.

With the guests potentially just a defeat away from falling into the relegation zone, it goes without saying that it is a must-win match for Bournemouth this week.

Burnley have looked sharp in their recent clashes on home soil. They picked a point off of Arsenal in their last game here, prior to which they came out on top against the mighty Leicester.

In sharp contrast, Bournemouth have been at their worst on the road this season. Miserably, the guests have been at the losing end in each of their past four outings, and have just one measly win from their previous eleven as well.

To make matters, the visitors have admitted defeat in four of their last six trips to this venue. Given their far from convincing form away from home, Bournemouth’s chances of picking up even a point are certainly looking bleak.

Furthermore, scoring goals on the road has just not been the guests’ forte. In fact, they have failed to find the back of the net in all but one of their last five trips on the road.

Taking into account that the reverse fixture of this clash was also a low scoring affair, count on Burnley to wrap things up with no more than a goal or two at the most.
