Report: David Moyes approves West Ham move for Inter Milan goal machine

Italian outlet FC Inter News have claimed that David Moyes has given West Ham United the green light to try and sign Inter Milan striker Gabigol, who faced Liverpool in the Club World Cup for Flamengo last month.
The 23-year-old has cropped up on plenty of club’s shortlists over the past 12 months, after scoring a whopping 34 goals in 43 appearances for Flamengo while on loan from Inter Milan at the Brazilian club.

The latest report now claims that West Ham are looking to bring in the five-time Brazil international this month, and are willing to offer £17million plus bonuses. However, they are not the only Premier League side after Gabigol.
Chelsea are also said to be interested in the on-fire Brazilian striker, given that Olivier Giroud is likely to leave Stamford Bridge this month with Crystal Palace and West Ham also linked. Gabigol could be the newest star at the London Stadium.

TBR’s view – Gabigol would be a stunning signing for West Ham

Especially given the Hammers tendency to play with two up top at times. Sebastian Haller has shown, on occasion, that he can score on a regular basis in the Premier League. He has six to his name, his latter two coming after a lengthy drought.
Haller would still be first-choice, but bringing in Gabigol finally gives West Ham a much better option up front- certainly more so than summer signing Albian Ajeti.
