The 10 international athletes of the decade

Many international athletes have accomplished great things in the past 10 years.
It was therefore extremely difficult to choose only 10 for this list, but here are the ones that caught our attention:
LeBron James
In the past decade, LeBron James has participated in eight consecutive NBA finals, winning three of them. His greatest achievement was to allow the Cavaliers to overcome a 3 to 1 delay against the Golden State Warriors in 2016, which gave Cleveland the first major championship for the first time since 1964.
In addition to appearances in the finals, James has averaged 26.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game over the decade. Statistics that are not even close to being achieved by another player.
Tom brady
As the New England Patriots' quarterback, Tom Brady has allowed his squad to dominate the NFL for a second decade in a row. In control of the attack, he helped the "Pats" win three of the four Super Bowls they participated in.
Serena williams
Serena Williams has confirmed that she has been the greatest tennis player of all time, having won 12 of her 23 Grand Slam titles in the past 10 years. In addition, in her last victory at the prestigious Australian Internationals in 2017, the American won her daughter's pregnant tournament. She then gave him life and took back his racket. Since then, she has participated in four Grand Slam tournament finals, but has not had the happiness of victory.
Roger Federer
Even if he is no longer the first tennis player in the world as at the beginning of the decade, Roger Federer has not lost an ounce of the class that characterizes him. At 38, he is still doing well in the game, who is now third in the world. Over the past 10 years, the Swiss have won five Grand Slam titles and 42 crowns in various events.
Usain Bolt
During the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, Usain Bolt won gold medals in the 100, 200 and 4×100 meters. There is probably no one who has ever earned the title of "the fastest man on the planet" more than he did.
Michael Phelps
Michael Phelps is the most successful athlete in Olympic history with 28 medals, including 23 gold. He has won 12 in the last decade, in London (2012) and Rio (2016).
Lionel Messi
The famous FC Barcelona player has won five of his six Golden Balls in the past 10 years. It also allowed Argentina to compete in the 2014 World Cup final. Unfortunately for him and his compatriots, they lowered the flag 1-0 against Germany.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Impossible to select Messi without doing it also for Cristiano Ronaldo. The competition between the two men for the title of best player on the planet remains unresolved. The Portuguese won four Golden Balls and allowed his nation to take control of the Euro in 2016 for the first time in its history.
Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton has been the best Formula 1 driver in the past decade by far. He won five of his six world titles there. He never finished a campaign lower than the fifth row of pilots.
Floyd Mayweather son
In addition to having the best record of all time, 50-0, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has racked up his pockets in 10 years. The 42-year-old pugilist earned an impressive $ 915 million.
