TRANSACTION TRACKER: Report
The Houston Dynamo have agreed to terms with former Croatian youth international goalkeeper Marko Maric, according to a report from Lester Grotsch, a sports anchor for Univision Houston affiliate KXLN.
Born in Austria, Maric was a two-year starter for Norwegian club Lillestrom, which was relegated from the Eliteserien following a relegation playoff earlier this month. He started every league match for the club just outside of Oslo this season, part of 56 league appearances total.

Internationally, the 23-year-old played for Croatia's U-17 and U-19 sides at their respective youth European Championships, and also made three starts at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup. He has also been part of the squad for Croatia in U-21 play, but has not made an appearance at that level.
Originally coming through Rapid Vienna's youth system with additional stops in Poland and Germany, Maric would become just the second goalkeeper on the current Dynamo roster, joining 2018 SuperDraft selection Michael Nelson, who has yet to appear in a first-team match.

The Dynamo traded former starter Joe Willis to expansion side Nashville SC following last season and declined second-string goalkeeper Tyler Deric's contract option.
