Egyptian footballers took to Twitter to offer prayers and support to Mohamed Salah who suffered an injury during the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday night.
The Liverpool star was forced off the field on the half-hour mark of the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid after sustaining a shoulder injury following a heavy challenge by Sergio Ramos.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said in a post-match press conference that Salah’s injury looks serious. However, the Pharaohs’ national team doctor said he’s optimistic that the Egypt international will be able to make it to the World Cup, set to kick off on June 14.
