Liverpool take an important step towards securing that coveted fourth spot as they steamroll West Ham. With the match in the books, we want you to rate Liverpool's players and choose your man of the match.
With Liverpool's ability to score goals suddenly coming into doubt and West Ham fresh off a win in which they effectively ended Tottenham's title hopes, this was a match that had plenty of potential to be a real mood killer for Reds supporters. Daniel Sturridge, encouragingly, was deemed fit enough to start, but because Liverpool can never have all the nice things, it was also announced that Roberto Firmino was still dealing with a muscle issue and would not be in the squad.
Unsurprisingly, it was a nervy start to the proceedings from Liverpool, but Sturridge conjured a moment of magic yet again from an incisive Coutinho pass to put Liverpool ahead. From there, West Ham retreated into their shell and Liverpool played with more freedom than has been seen from them recently. Coutinho added two to the tally against a crumbling home side and Divock Origi closed the account with Liverpool's fourth.
Now let us know how you saw it. Hitting the thumbs up button is a vote to move the player up the list—or to help keep them on top. Hitting thumbs down is a vote to push that player closer to the bottom. It's half man of the match poll and half power ranking, and we want to use it to find out who you think played well after each Liverpool match and, at the other end, who you'd maybe like to see given the next game off.
