Toronto FC vs New York City FC
MLS 2016 – Eastern Conference Semifinal
Date: Sunday; 30th October 2016
Kick-off: 23:00 UK / 4 pm Eastern Time
Venue: BMO Field, Toronto.
This will be the highlight of Major League Soccer postseason, when heavy favorite NYCFC will be taking playing a very tough and momentum driven TFC looking forward to make the feat.
With the tale of the tape between both squads arsenals, this will be an epic series when a close duel between two one of a kind strikers in New York’s David Villa and Toronto Sebastian Giovinco.
Despite several key players from both squads, being call up for international play on their national team’s duty, at the end this will be one series to follow up closely.
Both Toronto FC and New York squads will be looking forward to make a serious stand if they would like to advance to their first ever conference finals, as both squads despite the Canadians having some time in league play they have not been in these stages.
As for the NYCFC in its second year they would love to be disputing the grand finale against their cross the Hudson foes the Red Bulls who are disputing the other semifinal with another north of the border squad in the Montreal impact and labelled as all around favourites.

Toronto FC vs New York City FC: Head-to-Head Stats

The teams met twice in the MLS this season and both games have ended in a stalemate; 1-1 at Toronto and 2-2 at New York.
Toronto haven’t won in any of the five previous meetings with NYCFC as they lost twice and drawn 3 during the period.

Toronto FC vs New York City FC: Prediction

The date is on Sunday 30th and with Toronto, hosting the first game at home at BMO field and the home field advantage can suit the Reds with win that they can take back to the Bronx and maybe play the role of spoilers.
At the end my favourite to win this series and to be the finalist for the Eastern Conference, I still lean towards the NYCFC and its initial eleven that can cause havoc, very well I see the Big Apple Boys winning the MLS Cup. So it is Advantage NYCFC.
