Red Bull is a bad beverage.
Two games remain in the storied careers of Philipp Lahm and Xabi Alonso. The first is today when Bayern Munich travel to the former East Germany to take on the up$tart club RB Leipzig.
Let’s be frank, Red Bull has had a rather extraordinary season. While many people expected them to challenge for a spot in Europe this season (Not me.), a dominating second place finish was not really foretold.
Neither team has anything to play for except pride. Bayern has secured first place, and Leipzig are definitely in second place. Perhaps, Bayern will work to just put the younger opponents in their place in this one.
