Hull City’s relegation battle will continue this weekend, they will be hosting Southampton at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Hull’s bad performance could be traced to the growing list of injuries in their squad since the start of the season. They have been on the receiving end as they are on 8-game winless streak in the Premier League.
Hull last won a Premier League in August and since then, they have lost 7 and drawn 1 in their last 8 Premier League games. They are 18th in the table with 7 points after 10 games.
Southampton will come into this game in high spirit, as they were victorious at home against Inter Milan on Thursday night. They are a mid-table team at the moment as they are 9th in the table with 13 points after 10 games.
The Saints also has a huge list of injuries at hand just like their host, with Shane Long and McCarthy included. However a win in this game won’t change much but they still need it to keep up with the pressure.

Hull City vs Southampton: Prediction
Southampton are coming on the back of a morale boosting 2-1 win over Serie A giants Inter Milan in their mid-week fixture. They had met some tough opponents in the last few Premier League games which dent their progress. They lost to Chelsea the previous week, but managed to take a point each from clashes against Leicester and Manchester City. Hull City are a side in tatters and the Saints could pick all three points here.
