MIAMI, FL (30 de marzo de 2020) — Inter Miami continues its efforts to positively impact its community while Major League Soccer takes a pause to follow safety guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Today, the Club is coming together to thank healthcare professionals in our community for keeping us safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“While we are doing our part by social distancing, please take the time to be thankful and remember all those frontline responders, the doctors, the healthcare professionals who are working tirelessly to keep us safe, especially our Club medical team and those at Baptist Health,” said Luis Robles, Inter Miami CF goalkeeper and team captain. “Without you guys we couldn't do it, so thank you for all your work, your time and your sacrifice. From everyone here at Inter Miami, we are truly grateful for you.”
Earlier on March 23, Inter Miami altered the Club's logo to separate the iconic white herons, which are normally interlocked, across its digital platforms to encourage social distancing, and this past Saturday, Inter Miami participated in a FIFA 20 tournament for Twitch's Stream Aid 2020 event, which raised $2.8 Million throughout the 12-hour streaming event. Nearly 120K viewers joined Inter Miami’s 70-minute window during Stream Aid 2020.
