Esperando pela volta do futebol, Adryelson acredita em Sport forte na retomada

Zagueiro concedeu entrevista ao Diario de Pernambuco e falou sobre preparo para maratona de jogos, contato com a comissão e disputa na zaga

Com a paralisação das atividades no futebol por causa da pandemia da Covid-19, os meses de março e abril iniciaram uma espécie de intertemporada incidental nos clubes, e no Sport não foi diferente. De volta do período de férias oficiais, finzalizado na quinta-feira, o zagueiro Adryelson revelou um pouco do que espera para quando as atividades esportivas forem retomadas, acreditando em um bom retorno leonino e reforçando a necessidade de uma boa recuperação física.

“Acho que o Sport vai voltar bem. Vejo meus companheiros treinando bastante, assim como eu. Acredito que todo mundo está cheio de vontade de voltar a jogar. Mentalmente vai ser um alívio poder estar em campo novamente fazendo o que a gente gosta. Tudo com as devidas medidas de segurança, claro”.

O zagueiro ainda opinou sobre a preocupação com as prováveis maratonas de jogo que acontecerão nesta temporada. “Acredito que o principal será o descanso e o cuidado com a forma física dos jogadores. Imagino que teremos muitos jogos em sequência, semanas cheias. Acho que a recuperação de um jogo para o outro, de um treino para o outro, será fundamental”.

Sobre o acompanhamento da comissão técnica leonina durante o período do isolamento social, Adryelson revelou uma característica do treinador leonino, Daniel Paulista. “Ele é um treinador que sempre busca se fazer presente. Ele é um cara que quer o grupo próximo a ele. E nessa quarentena não está sendo diferente. É claro que não dá para falar todos os dias com todos os jogadores, mas ele e sua comissão nos acompanham da melhor forma”.

DISPUTA REFORÇADA NA ZAGA

Quando voltar às atividades, Adryelson terá um novo concorrente na zaga, Iago Maidana. Penúltimo contratado do Sport antes do isolamento social, o zagueiro foi emprestado pelo Atlético/MG e fez apenas cinco treinos com o elenco antes da pausa, chegando a ir para o banco no jogo contra o Ceará, pela Copa do Nordeste. O novo nome da defesa leonina também foi assunto para Adryelson.

“Eu vejo como um ganho para o Sport. O (Iago) Maidana é um excelente jogador e está com muita vontade de nos ajudar. É o tipo de concorrência que só traz benefícios. Eleva o nível da equipe, do treinamento, e todos saem ganhando. Espero que não só eu, não só o Maidana, mas que todos os atletas do elenco do Sport retornem bem e muito motivados para defender as cores do clube”.

Além de Maidana, o Sport voltará da parada com outras quatro novidades: o lateral direito Patric, que estava no Atlético/MG e volta ao clube após cinco anos; o lateral direito Elias, que retorna de empréstimo ao Athletico/PR; o atacante Phillip, contratado do Afogados; e o atacante Ronaldo, que estava no Santo André. Além deles, o meia Bruninho, que só fez um jogo após ser emprestado pelo Atlético/MG, também deverá receber mais chances.

La posizione dei 20 club, che ribadisce quanto fissato lo scorso 21 aprile, arriva all’indomani delle parole del ministro dello sport, Vincenzo Spadafora, che aveva sottolineato come se non si troverà un accordo per la modifica del protocollo per la ripresa, il Governo si assumerà la responsabilità di dichiarare chiusa la stagione.

Lorient: promu en Ligue 1, Pélissier satisfait d'avoir réussi son "challenge"

Christophe Pélissier est revenu dans l'After Foot de RMC sur son choix de signer l'été dernier au FC Lorient, qui a obtenu sa montée en Ligue 1 avec le classement de Ligue 2 gelé à la 28e journée.

Un pari réussi pour lui qui avait pris tout le monde à contre-pied en quittant la Ligue 1 et l'Amiens SC pour retourner en Ligue 2 cet été avec les Merlus. Une prise de risque qui a payé en seulement une saison. Elle confirme la capacité de Christophe Pélissier à remplir ses objectifs, puisqu'il avait fait monter Luzenac en Ligue 2 et Amiens aussi avant de les emmener parmi l'élite.

"Je me mettais aussi un peu en danger"

"La décision, même si je ne l'ai pas prise tout seul, avait même surpris autour de moi, a-t-il expliqué. Mais j'avais rencontré le président de Lorient, vu que le projet pouvait être intéressant. Je me mettais aussi un peu en danger, parce qu'à chaque fois que j'avais réussi des montées, c'était à chaque fois avec une équipe qu'on attendait pas. Là, c'était un des favoris de Ligue 2".

"C'était un challenge pour moi d'avoir une équipe comme ça, avec des moyens et des ambitions, a-t-il poursuivi. Le président m'avait fait énormément confiance, puisqu'il m'avait fait signer un contrat de trois ans ici".

Premier League re-states commitment to finish season

Premier League clubs on Friday reconfirmed their commitment to finish the 2019/20 season subject to coronavirus restrictions being lifted in Britain despite fears expressed by players.

The English top flight faces an eye-watering estimated loss of around £1 billion ($1.25 billion) if no more football is played due to the global pandemic.

Playing the 92 remaining games behind closed doors would mitigate that loss, avoiding the need to repay hundreds of millions to broadcasters.

But the Premier League faces huge logistical difficulties in its attempts to return to action, with Britain one of the countries worst-hit by COVID-19 as the number of deaths passed 27,500.

The league and clubs discussed possible steps towards resuming the season at a meeting on Friday.

"The league and clubs are considering the first tentative moves forward and will only return to training and playing with government guidance, under expert medical advice and after consultation with players and managers," the Premier League said in a statement.

"The clubs reconfirmed their commitment to finishing the 2019/20 season, maintaining integrity of the competition and welcomed the government's support."

The league reportedly informed clubs that matches will have to be played at up to 10 neutral venues for the season to be completed.

Brighton chief executive Paul Barber said on Thursday that the idea of not playing matches home and away was a "further imperfection" on top of games being behind closed doors.

The British government is due to review a nationwide lockdown on May 7 and Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised on Thursday to provide a "roadmap" towards easing restrictions.

Liverpool are on the brink of their first league title for 30 years with a 25-point lead at the top of the table.

However, the Premier League is keen to avoid potential legal challenges over the awarding of much more tightly contested European places, relegation and promotion if the season cannot be completed.

Paris Saint-Germain were declared Ligue 1 champions on Thursday after French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced sport could not resume before September.

The decision to end the season based on average points per game has angered some clubs, most notably Lyon, who have threatened legal action after missing out on a European place.

Key to any restarting of matches in the Premier League is government support. Oliver Dowden, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, struck a positive tone after a meeting with leaders of a number of sports on Friday.

"We just kicked off first of many detailed meetings to plan for a safe return of elite sport behind closed doors when, and only when, it is safe to do so on the basis of expert medical advice," Dowden tweeted.

However, players are questioning whether they are being rushed back into action to save the clubs money.

"Obviously, the majority of players are scared but above all because they have children, babies and family, they might live with their parents," Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero told Spanish show El Chiringuito TV.

"If we return I am sure everyone will be tense because the minute one person starts to feel ill, it will be 'what's going on there?'"

Players would potentially face weeks away from their families, quarantined in hotels.

"I am hoping that it doesn't come to that scenario," said Brighton striker Glenn Murray. "That is far-fetched, to spend eight weeks away from your family is quite a big ask."

A large supply of privately sourced tests would be needed for players, coaches and backroom staff.

Testing has been a thorny political issue during the pandemic in Britain, with many frontline workers unable to access tests until recently.

"If football was to resume then testing will be key and an extra layer of training will be required," former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro told the BBC.

"It only takes one case for all of this to blow up."

Werner: Klare Absage an Bayern

Timo Werner sieht seine Zukunft nicht beim FC Bayern, das hat er jetzt erstmals öffentlich deutlich gemacht. Bayern sei zwar "ein toller Verein" und Hansi Flick "ein richtig guter Cheftrainer". "Aber", so der Nationalspieler von RB Leipzig gegenüber "Bild", "falls ein Wechsel irgendwann einmal ein Thema werden sollte, würde mich eher der Schritt ins Ausland reizen als ein Wechsel zu Bayern."

Werner: "Die gegenseitige Wertschätzung müsste maximal da sein"

Vorigen Sommer hätte der FC Bayern Werner für 25 Millionen Euro verpflichten können, hatte sich aber gegen eine Verpflichtung entschieden. Werner fühlte sich hingehalten und verlängerte schließlich seinen damals bis 2020 gültigen Vertrag in Leipzig bis 2023.

Jetzt sagt er: "Es ist einfach so, dass mich die Herausforderung in einer anderen Liga noch etwas mehr reizen würde als ein Wechsel innerhalb der Bundesliga. Und natürlich spielt es dann auch eine Rolle, dass die gegenseitige Wertschätzung maximal da sein müsste. Deswegen habe ich mich damals für RB Leipzig entschieden, und deswegen würde ich mich bei meinem nächsten Schritt wieder für den Verein entscheiden, bei dem ich dieses Gefühl vermittelt bekommen würde."

Premier League lockt Werner - doch wer bedient die Ausstiegsklausel?

Neben dem FC Chelsea wirbt vor allem der FC Liverpool um Werners Dienste - wovon sich der 24-Jährige stets geschmeichelt gefühlt hatte. Unklar bleibt aber, ob ein Klub in der Corona-Krise gewillt ist, die nun zwischen 50 und 60 Millionen Euro liegende Ausstiegsklausel zu bedienen.

Die Frage, wie groß die Wahrscheinlichkeit für einen Verbleib ist, beantwortet Werner ausweichend: "Erst einmal möchte ich dazu sagen, dass ich total stolz darauf bin, wie wir alle gemeinsam in Leipzig in den letzten Jahren 'gewachsen' sind. Und auch ich habe mich in meinen Augen besonders in der aktuellen Saison unter Julian Nagelsmann noch mal weiterentwickelt und bin als Persönlichkeit gereift, habe noch mehr Verantwortung übernommen. Dafür bin ich total dankbar!"

Werner "würde niemals sagen: 'Ich muss hier unbedingt weg!'"

Er wisse "extrem zu schätzen, was ich an RB Leipzig habe und würde deswegen niemals sagen: 'Ich muss hier unbedingt weg!'" Einen Abschied im Sommer hatte er jedoch auch bisher nicht ausgeschlossen. Nur nach München wird sein Weg ganz offensichtlich nicht führen.

El Barça no pujará por Jadon Sancho

El mercado de fichajes del próximo verano comienza a calentarse y uno de los futbolistas que parece que será protagonista es el delantero del Borussia Dortmund Jadon Sancho. El futbolista, al parecer, no parece dispuesto a seguir en el equipo germano y desde Alemania, el diario Bild, vinculó al joven jugador con el FC Barcelona y el Real Madrid. El caso es que fuentes de la entidad azulgrana consultadas por MD descartan que vayan a ir a por él. El FC Barcelona conoce a Jadon Sancho, incluso se ha enfrentado a él, y saben que es un jugador muy técnico y desequilibrante pero del mismo modo consideran que tienen muy bien cubierta la delantera y los objetivos de mercado son otros.


El que sí estaría dispuesto a pujar fuerte por el jugador, según informan desde Alemania, es el Manchester United. El equipo de Manchester quiere repatriar al futbolista a la ciudad inglesa, donde ya vivió cuando militaba en el Manchester City. Sancho está llamado a ser uno de los jóvenes protagonistas del panorama europeo en los próximos años pero a la vez se espera que su salida sea por una cifra muy elevada en comparación con su experiencia y su edad.

Liverpool target Werner would rather move abroad than join Bayern

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner would prefer a move abroad over a switch to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Werner is contracted to Leipzig until 2023 but has been heavily linked with Bayern and Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The Germany international scored 27 goals and supplied 11 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for Julian Nagelsmann's Champions League quarter-finalists before the coronavirus pandemic brought the 2019-20 campaign to a halt.

While Werner has respect for Bayern and their head coach Hansi Flick, the chance to play in a foreign league is something that appeals to him more.

"Bayern are a great club, we don't need to talk about it, and Hansi Flick has proven this season he is a really good head coach," Werner told Bild.

"But if a move were to become an issue at some point, I would be more tempted by a move abroad than a move to Bayern.

"It's just that the challenge of another league would appeal to me a little more than a move within the Bundesliga.

"Of course, it also important that mutual respect is there as much as possible. That's why I chose RB Leipzig at the time, and why I would choose the club for [the] next step as one where I would get that feeling."

Werner went into the 2019-20 season in the final year of his contract and was expected to make the move to Bayern at that point.

However, the transfer did not materialise and in August he signed a three-year extension at the Red Bull Arena.

"I can't answer what motivated Bayern back then," he said.

"I am happy and satisfied that I extended my contract here and played in Leipzig this season.

"In my eyes I have developed further under Julian Nagelsmann and have matured as a personality and taken on more responsibility.

"I am totally grateful for that. I really appreciate what I have at RB Leipzig and would therefore never say: 'I have to get out of here!'"

Werner developed his football at Stuttgart's academy from six years old and made his senior debut at 17 years in 2013.

He switched to Leipzig when Stuttgart were relegated in 2016, and his since scored 88 goals in 150 appearances.
