The big Sunday night game will see two quality sides in Ligue 1 go head to head.

A lot of questions are being asked of Marseille who have seen their big rivals PSG struggle at the beginning of the season but haven’t really been able to take much advantage of the situation. Marseille were expected to win their last game at home against Saint Etienne and yet lost 2-0. The club played well in spells but only had 2 shots on target.

Still OM are in a good position, they won their first two games which included a very rare win in Paris over PSG, but they need to press on and they need the win here, yes it is early in the season but PSG have the bar so high now that if other clubs want to challenge they need consistency and good starts.

Lille come into this game in 4th place and have one more point than Marseille. They are unbeaten so far and their last game ended in a 1-0 home win over Metz. They have also drawn against Rennes and beat Reims away form home. Though they have only scored 3 goals so far they have also only conceded once and could have a mean defence, but of course it is too early to tell.

The home side have many attacking options, and it’s possible that the Saint Etienne loss was just a blip for the club.
