During the January transfer window, Barcelona revealed that they had agreed a deal to sign the 20-year-old from Braga for a fee in the region of £27m.
Ahead of his switch to Camp Nou later in 2020, Trincao has acknowledged that he is big admirer of Messi, as well as Portuguese compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.
Speaking to Barcelona's official Youtube channel, the forward said of Messi: "I'm really looking forward to meeting him and learning from him, because we are talking about one of the best players in the world."
Despite making just 10 starts and 13 substitute outings this season, Trincao has contributed seven goals and five assists in Portugal's top flight and the Europa League.
During Sarri's time at Napoli and Stamford Bridge, Jorginho was a first-team regular in the centre of midfield, an indication that Sarri is an admirer of the Italy international.
Although Juventus have not always produced convincing performances under Sarri, Jorginho has paid credit to the 61-year-old's qualities on the training ground.
Speaking to Gli Autogo during an Instagram Live chat, Jorginho said: "Sarri is a magnificent coach, he's extraordinary on a tactical level. I struggled a little at the beginning, but now that I can speak English more fluently and communicate, it's much easier.
Despite being linked with a return to Serie A at some stage of his career, the 28-year-old still has over three years left on his contract.
Los Blancos are understood to have made Haaland one of their top transfer targets for when the window reopens, having seen him score 40 goals in just 33 appearances this season - including 12 in 11 outings for Dortmund since joining in January.
The 19-year-old reportedly has a release clause of around £66m in his contract at the Westfalenstadion, and Karanka fully understands why the Norwegian is in such high demand.
"He's a young striker who scores goals. It's clear he has everything. He is no longer a player who comes from a minor league, shall we say," Karanka told Spanish news agency EFE.
"He arrived at Dortmund and has scored important goals, in the league and in the Champions League, and I think what makes him more attractive is the price he has.
"I think any big club wishing to bring in a player who can score goals would want him. And when you have a young player, who scores goals and has that price, which I don't think is particularly high, it's attractive for any club."
Recent reports have suggested that Madrid's hopes of signing Haaland in the near future have taken a blow, with his release clause allegedly not coming into effect until 2022.
Wales defender James Lawrence admits he feels "quite comfortable" with restrictions put in place as German teams return to training during the coronavirus lockdown.
Lawrence is currently on loan at Bundesliga.2 side St Pauli from Anderlecht and has been training in small groups for more than a week as Germany aim to get their domestic campaign back on track.
The 27-year-old, who has six caps for Wales, has spoken about his experiences of returning to the training ground during the pandemic.
He told talkSPORT: "I think under the guidelines of the association and government – they have put a lot of rules into place that we have to abide in order to train.
"I think they are taking the necessary precautions but it has allowed us to get back into training in a way that is manageable.
"We are in only groups of five, maximum of six players, one coach per team, one physio per team and a performance coach.
"The staff aren't allowed to mix with each other, the players aren't allowed to mix with each other so the groups are kept completely separate.

"We have different training times staggered throughout the day so that the groups can't run into each other.
"With the rules that they have put in place, it has allowed us to feel quite comfortable actually in doing that so we don't feel like we are at risk at the moment."
Lawrence admitted that none of the Hamburg-based St Pauli team had been tested for Covid-19 ahead of their return to training, with plans in place for Bundesliga matches to start up again in May.
"We are filling in daily forms, taking daily temperatures and all the necessary things and all of that information is going to the league," he added.

"We haven't had the test before going back to training. We have only been monitoring the symptoms and all that sort of stuff with the players.
"No one in the team has shown symptoms, we haven't been in contact with anyone who has, so we have done everything we can to minimise those risks."
Lawrence had knee surgery before Christmas and was on his way back to full fitness before global sport was halted by the outbreak, including the postponement of Euro 2020 for a year, which could boost his chances of making Ryan Giggs' side next summer.
He said: "I was fully fit just before we had to go into isolation and played my first 45 minutes. It was quite a frustrating time because I just came back from an operation.
"I'm feeling really good now and it has given me time to fully recover and get everything in completely in order instead of rushing back for games.
"It means that I can possibly get a full season behind me before going into the Euros, whereas now we only have nine games left to play – so it would have been a shorter time period.
"But (that's) not to say it is an advantage or disadvantage because you never really know what can happen next season – but it gives me that longer time to adjust and get really in the rhythm."

Das bedeutet aber nicht, dass der Ehrenpräsident seinen Einfluss verloren hat. Viermal im Jahr tagt der 68-Jährige offiziell als Aufsichtsratsmitglied. Aber auch bei Fragen rund um den FC Bayern ist der gebürtige Ulmer immer noch wichtige Anlaufstelle – und das direkt vom Tegernsee aus.

Für sein „Homeoffice“ nahm der Weltmeister von 1974 dafür eigens seinen Schreibtisch aus der FCB-Geschäftsstelle mit – ein Geschenk seiner Frau Susi. Nahe liegt es da, dass Hoeneß bei den Besuchen von Spielern und Verantwortlichen immer noch seinen Erfahrungsschatz aus seiner über 30-jährigen Zeit als Manager, Sportvorstand und Präsident teilt.

Je nachdem, wie sich Union Berlin zur kommenden Saison auf der Torhüterposition aufstellt, könnte Moritz Nicolas vorzeitig aus der Hauptstadt abgezogen werden. Borussia Mönchengladbachs Sportdirektor Max Eberl deutet ein solches Szenario an.
Borussia Mönchengladbach zieht offensichtlich in Erwägung, die ursprünglich bis Ende Juni 2021 datierte Ausleihe von Moritz Nicolas (22) vorzeitig abzubrechen. „Es darf auf keinen Fall sein, dass er auch ein zweites Jahr komplett auf der Bank sitzt. Wenn sich das abzeichnet, müsste man mit Union Berlin noch mal ins Gespräch gehen“, sagt Borussias Sportdirektor Max Eberl dem kicker.
Keine Chance gegen Gikiewicz
Nicolas schloss sich dem Aufsteiger erst zu Saisonbeginn an, absolvierte in der aktuell unterbrochenen Runde aber noch keine Spielminute im Union-Tor. Grund hierfür sind die starken Auftritte der Nummer eins Rafal Gikiewicz (32), dessen Vertrag allerdings nach dieser Saison seine Gültigkeit verliert.
Gikiewicz‘ Vertrag läuft aus
Die involvierten Parteien haben sich noch nicht auf eine Vertragsverlängerung verständigen können. Zuletzt hieß es, Gikiewicz könne sich sogar vorstellen, im Falle des Abstiegs mit den Köpenickern wieder in die 2. Bundesliga zu gehen. Das Pokern um Gikiewicz könnte sich noch etwas ziehen. Solange wird sich wohl auch noch Nicolas gedulden müssen.
