Angers will not want a repeat of their last game at Stade Raymond Kopa when they lost 4-1 to Reims. The club are not in good form though and in midweek they lost 1-0 to Monaco a side who have also struggled for form.

Angers are down to 13th now and have gone their last four games without a win. Their last victory was against Nantes just before Christmas. The good news is despite their lack of form they are just one win to be back into the top 8 clubs and anything is still possible for the club. At home they have won 50% of their games but again the problem is recent form and they have no wins at home since the end of November.

Lille are in 4th place and they have a 3-point lead over 5th placed Montpellier. The club secured a fantastic win over 3rd placed Rennes winning 1-0 and they are now just 3 points behind them for a final possible Champions League place.

Lille come into this game having won back to back matches but overall their away form is poor having lost 7 of their 11 games. The good news is that they won their last game on the road beating Strasbourg 2-1.

Angers remain a danger and do have a good record over Lille, but Lille have really picked up recently and they will have so much motivation to close in on 3rd place now they have given themselves a chance.

Whilst we were tempted to look at the double chance on Lille, a win or draw the price has dropped quickly from 1.57 to 1.44 so we think we should take the risk on the away win but also go for the value. Lille don’t travel well here but do have the form.
