Primeiro De Agosto lost their second CAF Champions League, Group D match 1-0 to Mbabane Swallows on Tuesday afternoon at Mavuso Sports Centre.
In the wake of the loss, the Angolans move to the bottom of the table with one point from a single draw in their opening Group D match.
Felix Badenhorst's goal separated the two sides in a clash held in Kampala.
Despite the crowd spurring the hosts on to bag an early lead, Swallows could not score in their opening 10 minutes.
De Agosto showed their class moving forward and Geraldo saw his effort easily collected by Sandile Ginindza in the 18th minute.
Towards the 30th minute, skipper Tony Tsabedze delivered a telling set piece into the box but Badenhorst and Wonder Nhleko could’t connect.
The Angolans nearly found the back of the net when Ginindza was called to produce a superb save in the 42nd minute from Traco’s header.
The first half could not produce goals.
In the 58th minute, Tsabedze pulled a thunderous shot at goal and De Agosto’s keeper was equal to the task as he parried the ball away for a corner.
However, Badenhorst found the back of the net on the hour mark with a great shot from Nhleko’s brilliant lay-off.
The visiting camp made changes in the second stanza and Fofo would see his header hitting the woodwork in the 66th minute.
The dying stages of the match could not produce clear cut chances and the Angolans head home with a defeat.
Resulting from this victory, the Swaziland outfit now sit at the summit of the group table with four points from two matches.
