The 19 year old will play for Castilla next season!
Real Madrid have signed 19 year old Fluminense forward Ramon Siqueira on a years long loan deal, with the further option to purchase. He will play for Castilla during the 2018/19 season! The player confirmed his forthcoming move via his social media accounts, and will travel to Madrid this summer to join up with his future Castilla teammates and coaches.
Ramon is very highly rated at Fluminense, and is also a Brazillian youth international whom has won three titles at under-17 level. His cousin Marcelo will surely have played a part in the deal. Siqueira is the fourth young Brazilian to commit to Real Madrid this season, with a fifth also rumoured to be on the way. Current Juvenil A midfielder Augusto Galván signed from São Paulo last summer, whilst world renowned star Vinícius Júnior is set to join Ramon in Madrid this summer from Flamengo. 17 year old Rodrigo Rodrigues has also signed the dotted line, arriving in the near future from Grêmio Novorizontino. All four could potentially play for Castilla next season, with Fluminense full-back Wisney also rumoured to be on the way to Madrid. If you’re in the dark regarding his playing style, then watch the video below and step into the light. He’s definitely Brazilian, alright!
After suffering through the most boring season in history, which is still ongoing, the prospect of a samba spice up for next year is very exciting indeed! It always a great feeling when Real Madrid sign a player, whether it be for Juvenil A, Castilla or the first team. With any luck - Ramon and his fellow Castilla eggs will be in a new, safer nest next year, too. It appears that Florentino doesn’t consider Real Madrid’s impressively large talent pool to be full just yet. Will Castilla be back at their scintillating best next year? Fingers crossed.
