Sunderland were able to keep a free scoring Reds at bay for majority of the game before succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at Anfield last weekend. The defeat come by no surprise, but David Moyes can take plenty of positives from the collective performance from the match. The Black Cats were on a two match winning run prior to their visit to Anfield scoring 5 goals in those games. They defeated Hull City 3-0 at home before edging a narrow 2-1 win over Bournemouth. However, they still remain at the rock bottom of the league table with a three point distance from the relegation zone.
Leicester City on the other hand were held to a 2-2 draw by Middlesbrough last weekend. They conceded the lead twice and needed two penalties to draw level, the crucial one coming with seconds left on the clock. The Foxes are nowhere near the title winning form of last season. They are without a win in the last four and have managed only 1 win from their last 8. They are 13th in the league table and there is only a 2 point gap from the danger zone.

Sunderland are a much improved side than how they used to be at the start of the season. And they will feel that they have a real chance to grab another win here. Leicester on the other hand seems to struggle in performing consistently for entire 90 minutes of a match. Especially their away form is terrible this season and they are expected to go down to a hard working Sunderland side.
