Le Havre were made to settle for just a point yet again after Grenoble did just enough to post a 1-1 scorecard last week. Despite breaking the deadlock seven minutes post the restart, the hosts conceded a penalty in the dying stages of regulation time which Jessy Bennet made no mistake in converting.

On the bright side though, the home team have not admitted defeat in their past five games on the trot. At the moment, Le Havre are occupying the final spot to the play-offs with thirty-seven points to their name.

Meanwhile, Caen are a lot closer to falling into the relegation zone than they are in catching up with the hosts on the ladder. The visitors picked up what was only their fifth win of the campaign in their most recent matchup with Chambly on the road. That too, by a narrow 1-0 scoreline.

It is also worth noting that the aforementioned victory is their only taste of success away from home in the past three months. In sharp contrast, Le Havre have not been at the losing end at Stade Oceane since their 1-0 defeat to Chateauroux, back in late September.

Taking into account the evident difference in form, Caen have little or no chance of coming away with the win in this one.

However, the hosts have disappointingly shared the spoils in half of their past ten games here.  Given that their last three h2h meetings at this venue have also finished as a tie, it will be a lot safer to back a double chance.
