Bologna eased past Pisa (3-0) in the previous round of the Coppa Italia and they come to this game on the back of a massive 2-1 victory away to Napoli that ended their dreadful run.

The Udine-based outfit progressed to 4th round of the Coppa Italia by defeating Serie C side Sudtirol (3-1) prior to opening game of the season vs AC Milan.

A lot of things happened since then; mostly bad. Udinese are in poor form at the moment with only one victory in last six games and they fell to a heavy defeat to Lazio in their most recent league fixture.

Luca Gotti’s men have 4-1-3 record at Friuli across competitions and massive issues in the final third, averaging just 0.88 goals scored per game in their own backyard, whilst shipping a goal per bout.

The Veltri will be looking to build on that win and make amends for the narrow loss at Friuli on Matchday 6, when Stefano Okaka scored the sole goal and the winner for the Zebrette.

Coppa Italia usually brings goals and I will go with that, and pick the team more depth and that is, in my humble opinion, a visiting side.

Fringe players on both teams will get their minutes and the likes of Skov Olsen and Mattia Destro can easily decide this tie.
