Sundowns ready for Horoya test in Guinea

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns have been in Guinea since last Friday ahead of Tuesday's CAF Champions League Group C clash with Horoya at the Stade du 28 Septembre.
Sundowns arrived early in order to get used to the hot and humid conditions in an encounter that Pitso Mosimane's men must at least collect a point after drawing 1-1 with Wydad Casablanca in their opening match.
Conditions in the nation's capital are expected to be challenging and inhospitable, with visiting sides getting very little respite from both home fans as well as the hosts.
In 2017, SuperSport United battled to a tough draw with Horoya and gained a valuable point that helped them advance in the CAF Confederation Cup at the group phase.
Meanwhile, H.A.C come into the contest in some good form having been away winners in their first game at AS-Port Togo in Lome.
In addition, they top the standings in their country and beat Satellite 5-0 in their previous match.
With Wydad having defeated the same Togolese outfit subsequently, it means getting a positive result becomes even more important for 'Downs.
If the Brazilians were to get a bad result, they will be behind the black ball when the competition resumes in July.
In addition, Mosimane's charges have to put the excitement of playing against Barcelona in a recent international friendly behind them, which Barca won 3-1.
Kick-off is at 18:00 (SA time).
