News coming from Egypt is that Al Ahly technical director Sayed Abdel Hafiz has announced a number of resignations for technical staff members.
Abdel Hafiz announced the resignation of numerous staff members following the side’s 2-0 win over Al Masry on Sunday.
The Red Devils’ domestic campaign recently came to an end with the Egyptian giants winning the league and losing the Egypt Cup final.
However, manager Hossam El-Badry resigned after failing to win a single match in his last four matches in the Egyptian Premier League, Egypt Cup and CAF Champions League.
According to KingFut, there will be a full overhaul of the staff with the first change likely to be the manager.
The Egyptian website reports that Argentine coach Ramon Diaz will take over the reigns as El-Badry's successor.
Abdel Hafiz said that the technical, administrative and medical staff resigned after the last match of the Egyptian League.
Meanwhile, the former director of football added that these overhauls are usual with the end of the season in order to fulfil the aspirations of its members and its fans.
The North African side are yet to win in this season’s Champions League and sit at the bottom of Group A with one point after drawing against Esperance Sportive de Tunis and losing to Kampala Capital City Authority of Uganda.
