Should Celtic bid for Jack Harrison as Patrick Roberts replacement?

Celtic look set to say goodbye to Patrick Roberts during the summer, so perhaps one of his Manchester City teammates is a target worth considering.

Patrick Roberts may not have been quite able to find his best form on a consistent basis during his second loan spell at Parkhead, but there is no question that it will be a big blow for Celtic if Brendan Rodgers is unable to get the winger back again for a third stint with the Bhoys.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is seen during a training session at Lennoxtown Training Centre on April 27, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.
The numbers involved hint that Celtic may have to forget about another deal, despite the Express reporting that they are interested, unless Manchester City decide that they would prefer to loan him out again next season - and feel that a return to the Scottish Premiership is the best move for his development.
Should Celtic miss out on Roberts, Rodgers should arguably consider a bid for one of his Manchester City teammates during the coming months as he may be a fantastic replacement.
Jack Harrison of England looks on during a England U21 Training Session at St Georges Park on October 4, 2017 in Burton-upon-Trent, England.
Jack Harrison only joined the Cityzens in January and was immediately loaned out to Middlesbrough. Unfortunately for the 21-year-old, he has been unable to hold down a place in Tony Pulis' side and will be hoping for a much more productive season next year.
Harrison is an extremely bright talent and appears destined for an exciting future. He scored 10 goals from the wing during his final season in Major League Soccer and that kind of form should tempt Rodgers to make a bid as he can also play up front if required.
City know from watching Roberts' development that Celtic can be a fantastic club to work with so if they are ready to loan Harrison out next season, Parkhead should certainly be one of the places they think about sending him to.
And while taking Roberts' place would be an extremely tough ask for Harrison if Celtic did move and managed to get a deal done, he appears to have the potential to soften the blow for the Hoops if they are unable to sign the tricky winger for a third time.
