After dominating play for extended periods of the opening half, Al Faisaly managed to break the deadlock in the 40th minute, as Yousef Al Rawashdeh's cross found Lukasz Gikiewicz inside the box, and the Pole's powerful header found the back of Khaled Ibrahim's net, marking his third goal in the competition.
Seconds before the half time whistle, Salem Al Ajalin nearly added a second for the Jordanians, but his headed effort missed the target by a narrow margin.
The Syrian side increased their work rate as they looked to level things but Abdulhadi Shalha's right-footed shot from a distance went wide at the hour-mark.
Solaiman Solaiman equalised for the home side 12 minutes before the final whistle, as he took advantage of an error by Al Faisaly goalkeeper Moataz Yaseen.
There was, however, still time for Al Faisaly to snatch the three points in the dying moments of the game, as Al Jbarat's last minute shot nestled in Ibrahim's net securing his team's qualification to the next round.
Al Faisaly top the group with 10 points and can guarantee top spot with a home win over Al Ansar on Matchday Six. Meanwhile, Al Wahda occupy third place with a trip to Oman to face Dhofar next up for them.
