Juventus rule out signing Emre Can this summer

Juventus have supposedly ruled out the possibility of signing Liverpool midfielder Emre Can during this summer transfer window.
Liverpool fans can breathe a sigh of relief – for now at least – as Italian giants Juventus have reportedly ruled out signing Emre Can this summer.
The Turin club have been linked heavily with a move for the German midfielder this transfer window and it was starting to become a concern for many Reds fans that the player has still not committed to a new deal among the rumoured interest.
The Guardian’s Marcus Christenson posted on his Twitter account yesterday confirming that Juventus were hoping to hold onto both Paulo Dybala and Alex Sandro this summer but that they are “unlikely to sign Emre Can.”
CEO Beppe Marotta admits they are unlikely to be able to sign Emre Can but that Dybala & Alex Sandro are staying
While it isn’t confirmed what the reason the Italian club do not feel confident about securing his signature is, one hopes this means that negotiations over a new contract have finally picked up speed with Can already into the final twelve months of his current deal.
Can has spoken numerous times about his desire to “push on” this season and it’s looking more and more likely that he’ll be doing so at Liverpool.

The German confirmed back in March that slow-goings over contract terms was nothing to do with money and it looks as if with the race for midfield places at Liverpool fiercely competitive he is simply looking for confirmation of his place in the manager’s plans.
