Move for Bale?
Gareth Bale could well be on way to Manchester United if the latest reports are to be believed, with several news outlets reporting that United are leading the race for Bale.
Real Madrid have become increasingly frustrated with the injury issues suffered by Bale, and that, coupled with their move for Kylian Mbappe, means Bale could well be surplus to requirement at the club.
Of course, Jose Mourinho is well aware Bale is suited to the Premier League after his time at Tottenham Hotspur, and he would be a superstar signing.
De Gea off?
While ideally Gareth Bale would not be sold by Real Madrid, if there was a scenario where he would be used in a swap deal for David De Gea it’s reasonable to assume both Real Madrid and Manchester United may be willing to agree to that if it’s best for both parties.
It’s become increasingly clear that De Gea wants to leave for Real Madrid, and while Man United wouldn’t want to let him leave, they may well take the best deal they can get – and that means Bale.
