Following a 2-0 win at Monaco, Juventus now turn their attention back to domestic affairs as they take on cross-town rivals Torino on Saturday evening.
The Bianconeri are 90 minutes away from this season’s Champions League final and are on the cusp of achieving what would be a historic Treble. The Scudetto is pretty much in their hands, and in fact, they could be crowned champions of Italy this weekend. That is, provided they can beat the Granata and Milan defeat Roma to end the title race for once and for all.
However, with the high-scoring Monaco set to visit next week, Massimiliano Allegri may opt to rotate his squad somewhat, albeit not really in attack. Despite featuring in the Champions League tie midweek, Juan Cuadrado, Mario Mandzukic, Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala are all expected to start this fixture, as he surely will want to put this game to bed as quickly as possible.
Meanwhile, Torino have the highest scoring side outside of the top three, but their defensive woes have cost them dearly. The Granata have played some entertaining football and in theory, should be challenging for a Europa League spot. However, they sit in ninth place and that ship has long sailed. That being said, they surely will want to spoil Juve’s plans by causing an upset in the Derby della Mole this weekend.
Juventus have a 100 per cent win record at Juventus Stadium, but they did manage to concede two against Atalanta. That being said, the Bianconeri are an entirely different side at home versus on the road, but Torino, spearheaded by Andrea Belotti, could certainly cause them some concerns – especially as Allegri is expected to possibly make some changes in defense to keep everyone ready for Monaco next week.

Juventus vs Torino: Prediction
Juventus will likely be still weary from their exertions midweek against Monaco, but still should have enough to see off their cross-town rivals. That’s especially considering they have won 11 out of their last 12 meetings with Torino, including winning six in a row on their home turf. With Allegri possibly making some changes at the back, the Granata may be able to nick a goal, but all in all, La Vecchia Signora will likely take one step closer towards clinching part one of their desired Treble.
