Lewandowski schießt die Bayern zum Sieg

Der FC Bayern hat die Gruppenphase der Champions League am Dienstagabend mit einem Sieg abgeschlossen. Die Münchner bezwangen Atletico Madrid dank eines direkten Freistoßes von Lewandowski mit 1:0 und revanchierten sich somit für die Hinspielpleite. Gegen über weite Strecken destruktive Colchoneros dominierten die Bayern das Spiel, hatten zu Beginn der Partie aber zweimal Fortune.

Bayern-Trainer Carlo Ancelotti nahm nach dem 3:1-Sieg am Freitag in der Bundesliga in Mainz fünf Änderungen an seiner Startelf vor: Anstelle von Kimmich, Javi Martinez, Lahm, Müller und Ribery (alle Bank) rückten Rafinha, Juan Bernat, Renato Sanches, Vidal und Douglas Costa in die Mannschaft.

Auch Atleticos Coach Diego Simeone tauschte nach dem 0:0 gegen Espanyol Barcelona fünfmal: Juanfran, Gimenez, Filipe Luis, Tiago und Gameiro spielten nicht von Beginn an, für sie spielten Vrsaljko, Savic, Lucas, Saul Niguez und Gaitan.

Erste Chance für Ferreira-Carrasco

Bayern ergriff von Anfang an die Initiative, drängte die Gäste in deren Hälfte zurück und spielte schwung- und druckvoll nach vorne. Der FCB legte sein Spiel breit an - mit Douglas Costa und Robben an den Außenlinien. Die Spanier agierten aus einer abwartenden Haltung heraus, hatten aber die erste Großchance: Griezmann steckte auf Ferreira-Carrasco durch, der aus rund acht Metern an Neuer scheiterte (10.).

Wenig später bot sich dem Belgier auch die zweite Möglichkeit, doch wieder fand er bei einer Direktabnahme einer Lucas-Flanke seinen Meister in Neuer (16.). Die Münchner hatten gut zwei Drittel Ballbesitz - und standen von nun an auch in der Defensive sicherer.

Lewandowski per Freistoß - 1:0

Kurz nach Ferreira-Carrascos zweiter Gelegenheit ließ Douglas Costa die erste Bayern-Möglichkeit aus (19.), ehe Lewandowski wie schon in Mainz einen Freistoß aus rund 18 Metern direkt verwandelte - 1:0 (28.). Ancelottis Team war Herr der Lage und nahm den knappen Vorsprung verdientermaßen mit in die Kabine.

Nach der Pause änderte sich in der ausverkauften Allianz-Arena nichts am Bild: Die Bayern gaben den Takt vor, Atletico stand tief und setzte auf sporadische Gegenstöße. Die Münchner boten den Rojiblancos diesbezüglich aber nichts an und hatten selbst die erste Großchance nach dem Seitenwechsel: Robben hatte Platz und hätte nach einem Steilpass von Renato Sanches alleine auf Oblak zusprinten können, er schlug am Strafraum jedoch noch einen Haken, sein folgender Schuss wurde abgefälscht (54.).

Atletico weiter destruktiv - Thiagos Großchance

Auch Douglas Costa (55.) und Juan Bernat (59.) waren nicht erfolgreich, sie scheiterten an Oblak. Atletico spielte auch nach dem Rückstand destruktiv, seit den beiden Möglichkeiten zu Beginn von Ferreira-Carrasco hatten die Colchoneros in der Offensive nichts mehr zu bieten.

Die Bayern rannten unentwegt an, Lewandowski ließ eine Kopfballgelegenheit aus (73.), ehe Thiago das 2:0 hätte erzielen müssen: Nach einer Flanke von Douglas Costa kam er aus vier Metern frei zum Abschluss, schaufelte die Kugel jedoch über das Gehäuse (77.). Auch in der Schlussphase brachte Atletico kaum etwas zustande, Neuer musste bei Gameiros Volleyabnahme zwar nochmal eingreifen, Gefahr kam aber nicht auf (86.). So blieb es beim verdienten 1:0 für den FCB.

In der Liga treten die Bayern am Samstag (15.30 Uhr) gegen den VfL Wolfsburg an, Atletico spielt am gleichen Tag (16.15 Uhr) gegen UD Las Palmas. Die Auslosung für das Champions-League Achtelfinale findet am Montag, den 12. Dezember um 12 Uhr statt (LIVE! bei kicker.de).

El Barça recupera la sonrisa con un hat trick de Arda Turan

El Barça aprovechó la oportunidad que le brindó el Borussia Mönchengladbach en el Camp Nou: era la noche ideal para dejar atrás las dudas, rehabilitarse, olvidarse de los últimos partidos y recuperar la pasión. Para divertirse y divertir al público del Estadi. Y el equipo cumplió: no solo ganó con claridad, con un gol de Messi en la primera parte y tres de Arda en la reanudación, sino que recuperó la esencia de su juego, gobernando el partido con autoridad a través de la posesión del balón. 

Fue como pasar un fin de semana en un balneario: un ejercicio balsámico, un alto en el camino, aunque con los jugadores menos habituales, ya que Luis Enrique apostó de entrada por los seis fichajes del verano: Cillessen como sustituto de Ter Stegen bajo los palos, Digne y Umtiti en defensa, André Gomes como pivote, Denis Suárez en la creación y Alcácer como delantero centro.

Frente a un Borussia muy manso, que casi no cruzó el centro del campo y que apenas cometió faltas, el equipo blaugrana disfrutó del partido más plácido de la temporada. Después de tres empates consecutivos y de la decepción del clásico, el equipo necesitaba un partido así, sin grandes complicaciones, el escenario perfecto para la rehabilitación del Barça en lo colectivo y en lo individual. 

Messi, que no entiende de partidos semiamistosos, empezó el partido capitalizando el juego de ataque del Barça con una superioridad abrumadora. Se movió con libertad y fue el encargado de abrir el marcador, al cuarto de hora de juego. 

Lo hizo con un excelente cambio de ritmo, y tras combinar con Arda Turan: el '10' se movió en la corona del área, buscó al turco, que le devolvió el pase atrás para que Messi rematase a gol al primer toque. El gol premiaba la insistencia del Barça y castigaba la indolencia del Borussia. Sin embargo, el equipo alemán no cambió su planteamiento pese a verse por debajo en el marcador.

Disfrutaba el Barça, como si jugase el Gamper en el mes de diciembre: Umtiti y Mascherano apenas sufrieron como centrales, los laterales pudieron darse el lujo de progresar sin problemas, André Gomes ejerció de pivote con solvencia y los interiores, Iniesta y Denis, mostraron su creatividad y dejaron clara que su conexión promete dosis de buen fútbol.

LA PASIÓN TURCA

Disfrutó sobre todo Arda, autor de un hat trick en la segunda mitad, en tres acciones muy similares, incorporándose al área y aprovechando centros desde la banda derecha. El primero, de Denis Suárez, el segundo de Aleix Vidal y el tercero de Alcácer. El turco, siempre indescifrable, los celebró desganado, quizá rumiando aún la falta sobre Marcelo que cometió en el clásico y que supuso el empate del Madrid. 

En un tramo de 17 minutos, Arda firmó tres goles. Entre el arranque de la segunda mitad y hasta que fue sustituido por Mar Cardona, en el minuto 74, el turco recogió el testigo de Messi como protagonista indiscutible del partido, en una de esas noches doradas en las que cualquier remate se convierte en gol. 

DE ALCÁCER A ALEIX

También fue una noche especialmente dulce para Aleix Vidal: jugó un partido más que notable, progresando por su banda, defendiendo con solvencia, ovacionado incuso por la grada, rehabilitado a ojos del Camp Nou y de su propio entrenador, que no dudó en elogiarlo sin reservas tras un partido que puede marcar un punto de inflexión en su trayectoria en el Barça. 

La otra cara de la moneda fue Paco Alcácer: el valenciano jugó el partido completo, pero estuvo lejos del gol. Le costó buscarse la vida, moverse entre los centrales y combinar con sus compañeros. Sigue lejos de lo que la afición espera de él. Se le vio frustrado, cansado de esperar un gol que no acaba de llegar. 

El Borussia, que solo ha ganado uno de sus últimos diez partidos, intentó maquillar el resultado con un mano a mano de Johnson frente a Cillessen, pero ni siquiera así vio puerta el conjunto alemán, tímido y poco competitivo en el Camp Nou. 

El partido, que ya había nacido falto de competitividad, acabó convertido en un test para comprobar el nivel de los menos habituales y de los fichajes: Cillessen por fin pudo disfrutar de 90 minutos de tranquilidad, Umtiti recuperó sensaciones, Denis sacó un notable alto y André Gomes cumplió con solvencia. Y debutó Marc Cardona en la Champions, premio a su excelente temporada en el filial. Solo faltó el gol de Alcácer.

Dynamo Kiev 6 Besiktas 0:Nine-man visitors crash out

Dynamo Kiev registered their first Champions League win of the season as they thrashed nine-man Besiktas to end the visitors' hopes.

Nine-man Besiktas failed to reach the last 16 of the Champions League after a dismal 6-0 thrashing at Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.

The Turkish club fell short at the group stage for a sixth time in a stunning reverse against their already eliminated hosts.

Although Senol Gunes' side had not previously lost in league or cup action this season, four Dynamo goals and a red card for Andreas Beck killed the game before half-time.

Besiktas knew a win would definitely put them through - a draw may also have been enough depending on the result of the other group game involving Benfica and Napoli - but they were stunned by Artem Besedin's opener, Andriy Yarmolenko's penalty, Vitaliy Buyalskiy's quickfire third and Derlis Gonzalez's deflected fourth.

Besiktas' misery did not end there, though, with Vincent Aboubakar also sent off before Serhiy Sydorchuk and substitute Moraes added further strikes.

Dynamo scored with their first chance after nine minutes at a snowy Olympic Stadium.

Yarmolenko's incisive run down the right concluded with a delivery across the face of goal for Besedin to turn over the line.

Fabri held on as Yarmolenko shot low from 25 yards, before Besiktas' Aboubakar flashed a strike just wide of the far post after a smart turn in the area.

However, the game soon turned further against the Turks in controversial circumstances.

On the half-hour mark, Sydorchuk's pass tempted Beck into a challenge on Gonzalez that referee Craig Thomson adjudged to be both a foul inside the box and a red card.

Yarmolenko coolly dinked his penalty beyond Fabri to make it 2-0.

And things soon got worse for the visitors, with Sydorchuk forcing an error from Dusko Tosic, and Buyalskiy clipping a fine third into the net when Fabri failed to clear.

A fourth then arrived just seconds before the half-time whistle when Yarmolenko led a counter-attack and Gonzalez's effort deflected over the stranded goalkeeper.

Fabri saved comfortably from Serhiy Rybalka shortly after the restart, and made another stop when Buyalskiy looked to nudge the ball past him.

But Aboubakar then foolishly kicked a loose ball away to earn himself a second yellow card, and Besiktas' nine men were punished again.

When Oguzhan Ozyakup surrendered possession in his own area, Fabri parried the subsequent cross and Sydorchuk fired a low finish into the net.

Fabri saved again from Buyalskiy, but he was helpless to prevent Moraes from tucking away a rebound from Yarmolenko's shot with 13 minutes to go.

Moraes should have grabbed his second when he curled wide, and Rybalka was denied by the post as Dynamo's haul stayed at six.

Benfica 1 Napoli 2:Super-sub Mertens seals top spot

Napoli secured top spot in Group B as a second-half cameo from Dries Mertens produced a 2-1 Champions League victory over Benfica.

Super-sub Dries Mertens came off the bench to create one and score the second as Napoli ensured top spot in Group B with a 2-1 win over Benfica in the Champions League.

Having replaced the misfiring Manolo Gabbiadini on 57 minutes the Belgium international created Jose Callejon's opener with a deft flick before sealing the three points late on.

Napoli's winning margin could have been even wider had Gabbiadini - who has now failed to score in seven games in all competitions - and Callejon done better in the first half.

Callejon was not to be denied on the hour, though, as he finally showed some composure to score his first goal of this season's competition.

Substitute Mertens added the decisive second with 11 minutes to play with a low drive that was perfectly placed to beat the dive of Ederson.

Raul Jimenez grabbed a consolation for the hosts but Napoli were able to hold on to ensure they go into the last-16 draw as group winners, while Benfica also progress after 10-man Besiktas were hammered 6-0 by Dynamo Kiev

Napoli looked the more likely early on as they looked to attack at pace but it took until the 21st minute for them to create the first real opening.

Lorenzo Insigne fed Marek Hamsik 20 yards from goal, the Slovakian’s low shot was parried by Ederson into the path of Gabbiadini who headed home. However, the goal was ruled out as the striker was rightly flagged offside.

That let-off seemed to spark the hosts into life and a minute later Goncalo Guedes should have done better with a snapshot after Napoli twice failed to clear their lines.

It was a fleeting threat from Benfica, though, as Napoli finished the half stronger with Callejon and Gabbiadini both denied by Ederson before the break.

News of Besiktas' troubles in Kiev appeared to relax the hosts after the restart and Callejon should have punished them having been found by Insigne, but he snatched at his volley and skewed wide.

Just before the hour Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri opted to introduce Mertens in place of Gabbiadini and three minutes later the Belgian created the opening goal, Callejon racing onto his flick and lifting the ball over Ederson.

Spurred on by the goal Napoli continued to threaten and Insigne nearly executed a sublime chip from the edge of the penalty area in the 66th minute.

Pizzi then wasted a chance to test Pepe Reina with a long-range free-kick and Napoli made Benfica pay as Mertens wrapped things up.

The 29-year-old drifted past the challenge of Luisao before rifling a low shot past Ederson, the ball clipping the post on its way in.

Benfica halved the deficit late on as Jimenez pounced on a mistake by Raul Albiol and fired beyond Reina, but it was not enough to stop Napoli becoming the first Italian side to win in the Champions League on Portuguese soil since 1992-93.
