El conjunto blanco ha llegado con una ventaja de dos puntos a las seis últimas jornadas en 29 ocasiones a lo largo de la historia y tan solo desperdició esta renta en tres de ellas. La historia da como favorito a los de Zidane.

El Real Madrid volvió a aprovechar un nuevo pinchazo del Barcelona, el segundo en tres partidos, para despegarse del club catalán y colocarse como líder en solitario en la clasificación de La Liga. Dos puntos de ventaja más el goalverage particular en su favor que le hace depender de sí mismo, e incluso poder permitirse un empate, para poder alzarse con el campeonato.

Esta circunstancia no es nuevo para el conjunto que ha entrado hasta en 29 ediciones de la historia de La Liga con una ventaja de dos puntos sobre su inmediato perseguidor a falta de tan solo seis jornadas. De todas ellas acabó celebrando el título liguera en 26 ocasiones, viendo como perdía dicha ventaja tan solo tres veces en los años 1936, 1966 y 1992.

En la primera de ellas, con tan solo 12 equipos participantes, el Athletic Club de Bilbao fue capaz de recuperar esa ventaja y terminar siendo campeón. En la segunda ocasión fue el rival ciudadano, el Atlético de Madrid, el equipo que le arrebató el campeonato para acabar con tan solo un punto por encima de los blancos. Con los datos históricos en la mano, es evidente que el Real Madrid parte como favorito para acabar alzándose con la competición doméstica. Un favoritismo que tendrá que demostrar jornada tras jornada en las seis finales que restan hasta la conclusión del campeonato y que comenzará este jueves con la visita al Alfredo Di Stéfano del siempre complicado y rocoso Getafe de Bordalás. Una jornada en la que el máximo rival disputa un encuentro ante el Atlético de Madrid y que podría ser definitivo para que los de Zidane acaricien un nuevo trofeo.

Setién ha dado a conocer la lista de 23 protagonistas que estarán presentes, en uno de los encuentros marcados en rojo en el calendario azulgrana.

El Barça disputará ante el Atlético de Madrid su sexto partido desde que arrancó de nuevo LaLiga Santander. El club azulgrana necesita sumar de tres en tres para presionar al Real Madrid, que actualmente se encuentra líder de la competición con 71 puntos, dos más que el FC Barcelona (69). Sin embargo, no lo va a tener fácil el equipo orquestado por Quique Setién, que va a recibir a un Atlético de Madrid que viene lanzado después de ganar cuatro partidos consecutivos. El Barça llega a este choque tras hincar la rodilla ante el Celta de Vigo en Balaídos, dejando escapar dos puntos de oro para sus intereses,  por lo que deberá hacerse con la victoria para seguir vivo en la lucha por el título liguero.

Vuelve Sergi Roberto

Para el encuentro del martes 30 de junio ante el Atleti, Quique Setién tiene la buena noticia de poder contar de nuevo con Sergi Roberto, que se perdió las anteriores tres jornadas por lesión. El internacional español ha sido la principal novedad en una convocatoria en la que aún no entra Frenkie De Jong, lesionado de larga duración en el sóleo de su pierna derecha. Sergio Busquets es el otro nombre propio de la lista de 23 jugadores, ya que vuelve tras cumplir la sanción por acumulación de amarillas ante el Celta. La convocatoria es la siguiente: Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Arthur, Suárez, Messi, Neto, Lenglet, Griezmann, Jordi Alba, Braithwaite, S. Roberto, Vidal, Umtiti, Junior, Iñaki Peña, Riqui Puig, Collado, Ansu Fati, R. Previa Getafe-Real Sociedad: en juego 3 puntos claves por Europa

La lucha por Europa se aprieta

Con la vuelta del fútbol se ha visto progresivamente como juega cada equipo sin afición. En este sentido y sin disputar partidos de pretemporada previos al reinicio de la competición, ni el Getafe ni la Real Sociedad han disputado buenos minutos hasta ahora. Todo lo contrario sucede con el Villarreal, el Atlético de Madrid o el Sevilla, que han empezado con mejores sensaciones y resultados. Los tres equipos mencionados con anterioridad se encuentran ya por delante de madrileños y vascos, que ocupan la 6ª y 7ª posición respectivamente. Y menos mal que el Valencia no ha regresado en buen estado de forma, porque si no la situación sería mucho peor de lo que lo es ya. Actualmente, el Getafe se encuentra a 5 puntos con respecto del Sevilla, con quien tiene el gol average particular perdido. Por su parte los vascos se encuentran a 6 puntos del Sevilla, aunque tienen detrás al Valencia a solo un punto. El Athletic se encuentra a dos puntos de la Real y quiere luchar por Europa. Entre el 7º clasificado y el 10º hay una diferencia de tan solo 4 puntos.

La Real tiene ganas de revancha

Los txuriurdin visitan el Coliseum hambrientos de victoria, ya que hasta ahora no han conseguido ese ansiado triunfo que les reenganche de nuevo en la pelea por puestos champions. A esto debemos sumarle que el partido de ida entre estos dos equipos, que estuvo marcado por la expulsión tempranera de Llorente a causa de una mano muy dudosa, se resolvió con victoria a favor de los azulones gracias a un gol anotado en los últimos minutos por Maksimovic. La Real Sociedad querrá ejecutar la venganza que les dé tres puntos vitales en la lucha por competiciones europeas.

Estilo de juego muy diferente

Conocido es ya el estilo de juego del Getafe, que te tanto malestar ha causado desde que practica el fútbol que propone Bordalás. Atrás quedan las quejas de Pep Lluís Martí, que popularizó el termino de "antifútbol" o el enfado monumental de Ten Hag, que llegó a encararse con Bordalás en el partido de vuelta de 32avos de final de Europa League. Imanol Alguacil, entrenador de la Real Sociedad ha reconocido el mérito del Getafe, aunque ha admitido que a ellos les gusta que el balón esté en movimiento y se pueda jugar de manera fluida al fútbol.
