The Coppa Italia semis mark the return to life for Italian Football, and it would naturally be important for either of these teams to showcase their high levels that they used to display before the break. Due to Napoli having the home advantage, a lead in aggregate as well as an away goal in the kitty, they are deemed to be the favorites.

The first leg had ended in a 0-1 win for the Blues on the road. After the first half had gone without much incident, Fabian Ruiz broke the deadlock for the guests in the 57th minute. Though the home team thereafter tried their best to find the back of the net then, Gattuso’s men stood firm at the back.

As things stand, the Blues are the favorites. They are on an unbeaten run of five fixtures – which included four wins and a draw (the draw had come against Barcelona, in the Champions League). They had also won seven of their prior nine overall fixtures – and this included wins against Juventus, Lazio, and Inter.
