Celtic have been tasting nothing but success in their recent matchups and recorded their eighth consecutive win of the season last week with a 4-0 victory over Livingston at home. The hosts have just been too hot to handle at home as well, and have not dropped points in any of their previous ten games here in all competitions.

It is also worth mentioning that the home side have been a force to reckon with in Group E as well, and are yet to feature at the losing end so far.

On the other hand, Rennes have got off to a poor start, both in their domestic campaign and across Europe. The away side have been alternating between wins and defeats in their past five matchups, the last of which was a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Dijon.

Furthermore, the French outfit are yet to register a win in Group E. With just one measly point to boast off, the squad have all but confirmed their exit from the competition.

Rennes are also on a four-match losing streak in their trips on the road. Given the dominant form that Celtic are on, especially in their own backyard, the visiting faithful have no reason whatsoever to have their hopes up in this one.

In addition, Celtic have not been shy in racking up the goal-scoring charts, and have been consistent in scoring two goals or more in all of their home clashes this season.
