Two teams will up for this one, as both have something to gain from this game. If AZ avoids a defeat, they will secure a place in the knockouts while three points are leaving Serbian side in contention for the next phase.

Right now, they’re a force to be reckoned with.

The Black and White away form isn’t the best at the moment, as they suffered defeats in the last three games on the road. Whilst on average, they’ve been decent away from home, winning 57% of their matches, last three games are a call for caution.

In the Europa League, Partizan is in third place of the Group L – one win, one draw and two defeats with 4:7 goal difference. They’ve started out well, drawing with AZ then beating Astana away, but Manchester United brought them crashing down to earth. So, this is to-be-or-not-to-be game for them. If they fail to win, it’s game over for Serbians.

Everything points out toward an open, exciting game and, ultimately, a win for the Dutch side.

AZ have never beaten Partizan before, but there’s a first time for everything. They’re just superb at the moment, firing on all cylinders and Partizan’s shaky defense will have a hard time containing them.

AZ Alkmaar to win and score two or more goals will be my main bet here.

Over 1.5 goals in the first half is also an interesting option. Four of the last six Partizan games had at least two goal scored in the first half, whilst the same bet came in six of the last eight AZ Alkmaar’s matches.
