Major Link Soccer: Standings could be worse, Seattle could be Toronto

Also: Shaquem, Maleficent 2, getting ready for a 3-match weekend and more





It was a busy weekend of soccer action. Let’s get you started with some local links, and then finish with the feel good story of the weekend: two Griffins is better than one.

Seattle

The Seattle Reign drew on the road. The 1-1 result means they sit in 4th place in the NWSL. The Reign play down in Portland next Saturday, May 5, at 12:30 p.m. (Lifetime).
The Seattle Sounders lost 1-0 down in LA. They return home next Saturday, May 5, at 1:00 p.m. (JOEtv, YouTube TV).
S2 played in a scrimmage against UW that ended 0-0. Their next competitive match in Sunday, May 6, at 1:30 p.m. (ESPN+).
