Freddie Ljungberg failed to get off to a winning start in his first game in charge after Arsenal narrowly survived a scare at Carrow Road. The hosts were forced to chase for an equalizer twice in that latter matchup, and would have returned empty-handed, had it not been for a brace from Aubameyang.

At the moment, the home side are without a taste of success in their last eight games in all competitions on the trot. With no more than nineteen points to their name, the Gunners are now sitting eighth on the ladder.

On the other hand, Brighton are going through a rough patch that has seen admit defeat in each of their past three fixtures. Their last clash on the road saw them lose to the mighty Liverpool by a 2-1 scoreline, while at home Leicester made light work of them with two unanswered goals.

To pile on even more misery, the guests have picked up a win just once so far in their outings, that too back in August over the struggling Watford. It is also worth mentioning that they are on a four-match losing streak away from home as well.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are yet to stumble on home soil in the Premier League. Considering that Brighton have not secured the bragging rights in any of their last two visits here either, the Gunners are the favorites to bag all three points in this one.

Furthermore, the hosts have been at their worst defensively, both at home and on the road. They have conceded as many as they have scored in their past three PL clashes here.  Brighton, however, have been consistent in getting their names on the scoresheet in their previous three trips on the road.
