Chapecoense shirts in huge demand

Football fans all over the world want to bag themselves a Chapecoense shirt 

following yesterday’s horrific plane crash in Colombia which killed 71 passengers.

Brazilian Serie A club Chapecoense, who had been dubbed the Leicester City

 of Brazil, were on their way to playing in the Copa Sudamerica final.

The majority of their squad has been killed and Brazil has since declared three 

days of mourning.

Chapecoense’s shirt sponsor, Umbro, released a statement on Twitter on

 Wednesday afternoon following a huge increase in demand for their shirts.

Being contacted by countless football fans, Umbro urged fans to be patient as

 their partners in Brazil are dealing with more pressing matters at this time.
