Die Borussen aren’t giving up hope in the title race; sitting fourth following first Bundesliga round of 2020, seven points behind league leaders Leipzig, Favre’s men are still in the running though they must work on their consistency and bloody awful away form.

Dan-Axel Zagadou and Thomas Delaney are close to return for Favre’s side, with Marcel Schmelzer being an unknown but all three most likely won’t be in contention for Friday’s clash.
Lasse Sobiech, Matthias Bader and Christian Clemens are slowly getting up to speed, but neither is deemed fit enough and won’t play against Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund vs FC Koln: Prediction
Both sides were the contestants in some of the most ridiculous score-lines this season, especially Borussia so this game should be another entertaining two hours of football. With that in mind, I’d recommend you go with goals in the second half. It’s becoming Dortmund’s trademark for all hell to break loose after the break, so I expect similar scenario in Friday’s game.
Borussia at Westfalen, in front of their own fans, with all that attacking potency equals goals. Just twice this season The BVB games here ended with fewer than four goals scored and with Koln being calamitous on the road v big sides, we can once more expect goals galore.
