After releasing their home and away kits in June, leaks have begun to come in that are claiming to be Real Madrid‘s third kit for this coming season. After having the light blue alternate last season, this year’s kit looks similarly crazy.
As a huge Madrid fan and having bought at least one of the club’s jerseys the last three years, I am always excited to see what Adidas and the 13-time Champions League winners will come out with next.
The leaked kit from FootyHeadlines.com has acquired pictures of the new red third kit. Similiar to the kit from 2011, this new jersey looks very, very cool. Here’s a sneak peek.
Like the kits from last season, this brightly colored kit will probably not be worn by the players much, but still, it could be a good purchase for you fans out there.
What’s great about this jersey and what Adidas is doing more frequently now is the way they make them and what they are made of. These, like Real Madrid wore a couple years ago for a game or two, are part of the ‘Parley’ design.
Pairing with Adidas, Parley helps create the kits using recycled ocean waste. So, not only will you be supporting the team by buying the kit but you will also be helping out a great cause.
Will you be buying the new alternate kit or will you be waiting until it is marked down towards the end of the season? I don’t know if I will be buying it right when it is released, but I am intrigued to see what it looks like on the pitch.
Hopefully, it isn’t super bright and distracting because then, I might have a problem with it.
